    2000 Ford SuperDuty with a PowerStroke under the hood.....the ultimate in towing...16 mpg towing...18+ not...plenty of room for a big southern boy...turned 140k the other day...mechanic said its time to remove the break in oil

    06' Nissan Frontier 4.0 V6 Crew Cab 2WD 265 HP 284 ft. lb. of tourque pulls my 05' Stratos 285 Pro XL GREAT and still gets excellent gas mileage, I was always the "Buy American" type but Im VERY happy with this truck so far

    Right now, I'm towing using my '98 GMC Sierra Extended Cab. Hopefully, if things go well here at work and we don't have anymore layoffs, I plan on getting a Nissan Titan Crew Cab.

    01 z71, 5.3, more than enough power, 4x4 ,and get 14.5mpg while towing with tow haul mode on. most fords wont get that mpg rollin' bare.

    I love a lot of things, not sure about the Tahoe, even though runs like a top and is a really good vehicle, I don't love it. I like it a lot, kinda like my wife.

    You guys may laugh but it gets over 20 miles to the gallon towing! I think they look good together, plus the money burned on the water is saved on the road. Pulls like a dream.

    BTW...after doing considerable research I bought a set of Firestone Destination LE tires sized 255/70R-15. They are highly rated based on owner satisfaction (#4 of the top 64 on tirerack.com). I recommend these to anyone in the market for new tires. Firestone/Bridgestone made some very effective changes to their tires since the Wilderness AT debacle and have improved their product line accross the board. Wet and dry traction is awesome and the noise level is pretty respectable with outstanding wear. Handling and braking are excellent as well.
