Hunter Education

I just took the course in IL with my 10 yr old. he passed with only 1 wrong on the 50 Q test. I was quite proud of him for that. I wasn't sure he was paying close attention, but I guess he proved me wrong. . He was quite vocal with answers and questions for the instructors and I think it payed off. now we need some shooting practice time and an open season and we'll be set.

Congrats to both of you. My son is 11 and will take his this year and I am not worried at all. He has been in the duck blinds with me since he was 4 and he has been taking deer since he was 8. I find I can teach him more then he will learn in these classes. I hunted with my dad for 4 - 5 years before they came up with the hunter ed and when I went take it, it was a breeze. Dad had taught me everything already.

WTG both of you. I did the couse several years ago with my son. I remember he didn't want to do it but now he is very glad he did.
