    Nice app. I use my own formula but this is faster! BTW for you gearheads, This is formula: Gear Ratio in fractions (i.e. 1.75/1=.571) x RPM x prop pitch in inches. This gives you inches per minute. Then..you divide by 12 giving you feet per minute. divide again by 5280 (feet in a mile) to give you miles per minute then x 60 to give you MPH. This is MATHEMATICALLY, but impossible to achieve because you have to account for slippage. Example: .571 x 5800=3311.8. 3311.8 x 25= 82,795. 82795/12= 6899.58. 6899.58/5280= 1.3. 1.3 x 60= 78MPH. So if somebody says they are doing 80 with a 225 Optimax stock, gearcase and a 25" prop, IT IS BS!!! Hope this helps!

    ABSOLUTELY THE ONLY WAY TO TEST A PROP IIFIGURE 5 TO 7% SLIP YOUR HOOKED UP PRETTY DARN GOOD I ADD 1INCH PITCH FOR DOUBLE CUP ILL FIND OUT SOON 26PITCH 1.87 GEAR 6000 RPM MY SHADOW SHOULD RUN 80 IE YOU DONT KNOW PROP RPM VS SPEED YOUR NEVER EFIGURE SLIPP BALD TIRES ON A WET ROAD ART. sorry guys impossible to run 80. 75 1s correct # I WAS CLOSE RAN 74 GPS! BOAT IS GONE KEPT 220.
