    Would love to hear from everyone back home. Im currently in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. Sure miss being home and doing some fishing.

    sgt beavers, currently in iraq 1st tour. army national guard for 6 yrs, already reenlisted for another 6yrs. get home this march and deploy out again beginning of 2011. best experiences in my life, without the army i couldnt have done any. bought a 1998 stratos 295pe with 200 johnson, bought it while i was on leave havent had the chance to take it out, looking forward to it

    I live right next to those guys! Coming up on the end of my stay here in Afghanistan. If I see you son, I'll say hey.

    The packages are great when and if you receive them. 26-months in Iran/Iraq then 8-months in the VA Hospital trying to learn to walk again hoping to fish soon. It was hard for my Marines in all 6 campaigns I was in and it is even harder coming back with disability pay being really low. Trying to catch up on fishing equipment and gear is terrible, even after 27 years as a Marine Corps Combat Officer. It is hard there and it is hard here. Please show your support for every Soldier/Sailor that put time in. Especially combat detail. My biggest challenge now is buying these new baits, rods, line, etc with 1585.00 per month? Things aren't like it was before I left stateside. So yes, send packages do whatever you can for ones who puts everything they have to protect our country.
