The 360 comes with a 20' Ethernet cable---- AS EC 20E. The Ethernet cable connects to the Ethernet Switch directly, no adapter needed. The 8' Ethernet cord on the 360 won't connect to anything other than an Ethernet cable.

I forgot about that cable that came with it, installed it several years ago and jist now getting the 5 port.As usual Wayne saves the day

Looking to add a bow mount 360
to my ultrex. If I’m using a graph just for 360, is there a difference in the image with the 1198 vs the helix vs the solix?
I want have quality 360 image , but would only use unit for that purpose

IMHO, the Helix 12 is the best for displaying the 360.

Of course, I used my 1198's with the 360 before I got an ONIX to run it. Then I used the Helix and SOLIX.

Really considering a 360. Right now I have a helix 9 is on the bow. I’m considering upgrading to a helix 12 on the bow and splitting the screen for the 2d and 360. Will that work? Can I also split the screen for di and 360? Thanks in advance

I think there are 3 360 views with the Helix.....full 360, 360/sonar, 360/chart.

Am am I missing something or is it right that anytime I turn off 360 or change the screen and go back to my 360 I have to reset my 360 display. For example I like using a 180 view instead of the 360. If I change my screen and go back to 360 it always reverts back to standard 360

I just purchased a 360 unit for my ultrex about a month ago. Installed it and everything was working fine. Fished a tournament last Wednesday and I looked down and my screen seemed to be frozen. The 360 image was up, but it was not scanning any more. It did not give me any messages about losing the connection or anything. I shut off my unit and tried turning it back on. Now my 360 no longer works. I have tried a few trouble shooting things and have checked everything over. Anyone have any ideas or advice?

Every ONIX. .
Every Helix that has Ethernet starting with the Helix 7 CHIRP GPS G2N---all the Helix 9, 10, and 12 versions.

You can use the Sonar model, Down Imaging model, or Side Imaging model of any of them.

Since the ONIX is a discontinued model replaced by the SOLIX, all SOLIX models are compatible.

Considering the 360 ultrex mount. How stable is the transducer in rough water? Does the transducer flex enough to hit the trolling motor when running through heavy waves? Any options on a two point mounting system or is it not needed. Thanks.

There has been a concern with the Ultrex 360 installed close to the motor instead of just below the water's surface (less pole length applied).

Some pros loosen the plate-to-clamp bolts and take it off when in very rough water, then re-attach it when needed at the next location.
Transducer Shield and Saver has a brace available for rough water support if you want to go that route. Must be a market for it since it is made.

If you mean 360 on one unit and MEGA DI on the other unit, YES. 360 uses 455 kHz. MEGA DI is 1200 kHz.

If you mean 360/DI split view on both, then check to see if you have that view selection in the Views menu.

It should only be fair that electronic manufacturers put out a press release that 1,000 accessory is going to be discontinued at least 60 days in advance. Bought mine 30 days ago, and no info about it. I call a buddy of mine that is HB, he tells me yea those are done. I just feel like that isn’t ethical and electronic manufactures could gain more business by being open to when units will be obsolete

Not sure about this, last 3-4 weeks on Hummingbird’s website, their online store was out of stock. Today, they have the fortrex model back in stock to sell. Ultrex model is still out of stock on their website. I have been checking this as getting ready to buy myself, and was waiting to see if Hummingbird was upgrading it. Only reason I was checking Hummingbird’s website was figuring if they didn’t restock their website, might only be was they were bringing a newer version out and now I am not sure, but they are restocking it to sell with present model of 360. I am still not sure if they are upgrading it for 2019 and everybody seems to think there is no change in the 360 for 2019.

I'm have a problem seeing fish in deep water can see them easy in the water colum under the boat is there any settings that might help pick up fish 60ft from the boat.
