    Yep, that's my exact thought too - ground shipping is perfectly reasonable. I was just curious if I could speed the process up by paying out of my own pocket to get it there a bit faster. But, once I saw those prices, it wasn't worth the additional cost to me.

    Its a real shame that Humminbird dont feel the need to support their products in the UK, I have just had one of their software updates crash my Onix 8si and turn it into a useless brick and am getting no help what so ever. Dont think that is good customer support shame on you hummingbird. Looks like i will have to get a lawyer involved.

    No response yet Wayne, but i just got a E-mail back from the UK distributors saying Johnson have said they have never herd of any issues with software updates crashing the units and it would be nearly £1000 to send it back to them for repair, Not good when its a known issue. Hopefully your contact will come back to me and be able to help but its not looking good.

    After waiting for one half hour for a technician to answer today he was good and solved my issue. That was our 2 Nd call as the phone connection failed on the first two hour call.
