What is the size of both the tubes that you used? Nice job looks great
1" and 3/4". I'll have to double check on the wall thickness, i think the 1" was .065 wall

Looks like a great job!
If I wasn't lost, I'd surely know where I was going!
Just my observation from being in construction all my life, but how much flex does this set of tubes have? The pockets seem quite shallow. I would think it would not take so much pulling to get the tubes to flex enough to pull out of one side or the other.
I like the neatness of what you have done. And have seriously thought about looking into one. I would think if the inner one were solid, and 2" from full width of the deck where you plan to install it would be very little flex. But, as in most cases, all you want to do is deter the POS from your boat to an easier target. At the cost you are talking about. It will do in most cases

The 3/4" tube is thick wall. By the time you have the 3/4" tube inside the 1" tube it is pretty solid. I have the tubes overlapping by about 2ft. The depth of each pocket is approx. 1-3/4". The pockets cannot be much deeper as you run into interference with PVC and eletrical. I have the bar extended fully so it is bottoming out inside the pockets. I had the hole drilled in the bars so it is secured in the fully extended positin. The T&H pockets are much shallower than mine (link: Amazon.com : LOC-R-BAR MOUNT BRACKET 2/PK : Boating Equipment : Sports & Outdoors )
Nice machining work! Looks very pro and clean.
Very nice job, I would add some kind of security screws instead of phillips.

Very nice job. did you also make the tube brackets
I'd love to get a set of those grommets. What ever you call them. They look awesome!
The tube end brackets? Those were custom machined by a co-worker. I don't know about selling them. Not sure if I would have to become a sponsor or not? These are all stainless parts so they would be slightly more than the T&H aluminum brackets if I were to have him make some more....
And for those asking, the inner 3/4" od tube is a wall thickness of 0.120" the 1" od tube is a wall thickness of 0.065" So you basically have a 3/8" hole through the center.
I'd be intersted in a set of the end brackets as well. Name a price!

Nice job! Like the others said, I would buy one!
Remove the screws and the ends are still inside the glass. You would have to bust out the fiberglass to get them out. Just like all locks they are made and used to keep out the lazy,in a hurry thug. Your not going keep a real thug out
Very professional. Awesome job.
