Re: Pics of your "toys" (capt_lunker)

99 250 superduty, 7.3 powerstroke, 6.5 inch procomp lift, 37 inch swamper ssr tires, mickey t rims, cold air intake, Magnaflow turbo back exaust, Hypertech programer, dual Optima red top batteries. This was my work truck when I was in the construction business.

It was one heck of a business card, everyone knew who I was and what I did. Inturn I had folks flag me down in traffic all the time because of seeing the truck wanting an estimate or to tell me they want me to do a job for them.

    1973 Bronco 351w, lockers, 10,000 lb winch, 35'tires.

1995 Bronco 351w Procomp stage2 6 inch lift, 35' bfg mt, Magnaflow dual exaust, k&n filter. This was a fun cruiser.

1978 trail beater Bronco, built 400, 38' swampers, 8000lb winch, lockers,4.56 gears, This was a point and go who cares about the body kinda toy.

This my latest 78 Bronco, Just started a resto on it. Not gonna be anything wild, just something nice. These things are going up in value cause they only made this body style 2 years, and nice ones are very hard to find.

Stripped the interior, New floor pans, rust bullet then herculiner interior floor metal, rear quarter panel, Tailgate pach panel welded in, and new body mounts, bout' all I have got done so far.

Thanks, The project was a complete frame off restore with a lot of sheetmetal replacement which was my first attempt at bodywork.

The autobody guys that do this for a living now have my full respect.

What does the one on the trailer have for a motor???? </TD></TR></TABLE>

It had a built 360 in it. Had enough ummphh to move that heavy 6000 lb truck down the 1/8th mile in 9 sec flat....as you see it in the pic too, 40" tires and all.

    that's about a 14 sec 1/4 mile btw.....

Re: Pics of your "toys" (capt_lunker)

A god friend of mine does head porting, and he hooked me up with a killer port job on a set of edelbrock heads.

I honestly think there was more in it, but when I ran it, I forgot the carb was still set up for rockclimbing....floats were too low and she layed down on the top end. I say this because I ran it twice, once with a full exhaust, and once with no exhaust, and there was no change in the times.

She did spin the tires on the 1-2 shift tho......
