Just want to share something that I experenced. Had a buddy tell me that you can get LED strips from ebay that are as good as Bluewaters and real cheap. He bought some and they are terrible. They are thin and have wires so thin you can pinch them and they break. They come straight from Hong Kong and take 3 weeks to get. Don't waste your time with these. Go to Bluewater and do it right the first time... Just my opinion, I have Bluewaters and they look great. If I was a bettin man I would say his will not work the next time I see him. Also they had a sticky back and it would not stick, so he bought some 3M tape. Terrible!

Thanks for that post. I can tell you that I spent alot of time and alot of money testing and failing many types of LED strips before I felt comfortable putting a warranty on anything. even then I wasted money warrantying the wrong stuff.

Now we choose every component carefully and we are very happy with the quality of the product. We only intend to improve them from here.

But I can't blame a guy for trying.

Let me say this first I have put Bluewater LEDS on my boat, trailer, and truck. Bluewater LEDS are bright and the quality is outstanding. Had the chance to meet Mike at the Classic Expo and he is first class in my opinion. He is a great board sponsor with super fast shipping.. Keep it up Mike!!!!

I have a similar story. I thought about making my own, buying the strips, etc. to save a little coin and just for "something to do". Finally, I broke down and bought Bluewater LEDs and I have to say I would never consider doing them myself again. The prices were lower than I could do them even in bulk, and the Bluewater product is superior, quality is outstanding, and are easy to install.

Anyone holding out for any reason like I was, "Order them" you will not be disappointed. Heck, if you live in Central Texas I will even come help you install them. I had fun doing mine!
