No 10's yet, got close twice in FL - 9-4 was the biggest. Got an 8-0 (at weigh in it fell to 7.86) in a tournament last year, still pretty good for NH. No 10's though...

    thanks.

NY record is 11.4lbs so that gives you a idea! For all I know, that could have been the new record fish. My scale broke when I weighed him. I am just going by the weight that the taxidermist told me it would be in for the measurements I gave him (I had a replica made by John Fox in florida) He told me it was in the 10.5lb-11.5lb range. So I just say 10.6 so I dont exaggerate his size.

Florida Everglades caught from the bank, released to swim again... or ate by a gator, she was on bed and exhausted by the time I got her in.

Stickmarsh on a spinner bait and neither of us had a scale...... I weigh 300 pounds for scale.

I've caught more nines than I can recall, weighed two in tournaments and this fish shamed them. No doubt she was over 10. The lake is catch and release, I had her back in the water before I thought to take some string and cut it for measurements.

Yes, back in 1976 when I was in high school. 12lb 1oz (I'm looking at it on the wall now). A few 8+ since then, but nothing close to 10.
