I guess size does matter. I'm still a young angler but I haven't gotten to ten just yet.

I have not but my buddy caught a 12.11 out of the back of my boat on Toledo Bend. I was happy for him and happy to be a part of his biggest ever, his previous biggest was a 6 pounder. Still can't help but to feel a little frustrated though since it's my home lake that I have fished pretty much my whole life and my biggest is only an 8.80.

12.3 from Lake Fork in 1996.
I have three.10.6 at Clear Lake,10.2 at Delta and 10.4 at local small Lake.
I was a weird kid, I’d always fish after I got home from school and my dad and I started fishing tournaments when I was 8 or 9 out of his old Ranger. He was a helluva angler before the alcohol killed him when I was 15. My biggest is a 12.4 that came out of Lake Tarpon, my mounted fish is an 11lb9oz monster that I caught in March of 1990 when I was 14. She measured 30.5 inches! If she hadn’t spawned yet I can’t imagine what she would’ve weighed cause she had no belly! I stopped counting the big fish, just take pics now and don’t have a scale unless I fish a tournament. Monday I caught this one, but I think she is shy of the double digit club.

I got a 10-1 from a small 850 acre lake near here. A friend was fishing with me the year before and caught an 11-5,same lake. We had a little tournament there in December of 2017 and the director got a 12.97 on a shakey head with a spinning rod, that was a long fight.
I primarily fish lakes around Middle TN. I have lots of 6's, some 7's and 3 8's but no 10's. That would be a rare fish in our lakes.

She was 115 pounds when i first caught her in 1973. She weighs more than that now but just as beautiful and makes me just as happy.
