Probably around 30 fish over 10lb's and 14lb 6 oz is my best. 95 % of these came from a private pond that is the most phenomenal place I have ever fished, Me and my tourny partner had 10 fish over 8 lbs in one day and it was nothing to catch 75 bass in a 6 hour period. Unbelievable old mill pond ( circa 1860's) that was around 6 acres. My best 5 in one day was about 53 lbs. Place ruined me and I didnt want to fish anywhere else, even quit tourny fishing to just fish there. I would take friends there just because they didn't believe me, even with pictures until about an hour of fishing there and then it was like Oh my God.
Caught 2, in the 80’s on Lake Anna. On a worm and on the same point. A year apart. What are the odds of it being the same fish. 10.1 and 10.2 lbs.
Trying almost every day for another. Lots of 8 and several assorted 9 lb fish. All artificial. Had a few that I felt were that size and bigger, never got them in the boat.
Two years ago I pulled in a spot in Dec, put the trolling motor down and looked and almost fell in. Three fish on beds within 10 ft of each other. Monsters!!!!Poles down and pitched to them for hours. One bite and I missed it.
Friends wife wanted to catch a big bass and I took her there 2 days later with shiners. Fish were gone. Moved out to some isolated cover and bam a bite. She did a great job. 11 lb 6 oz.. spawned out female. Biggest to ever come into my boat.
