Scotty,
Looks awesome. I'm looking to do a removable deck extension on my 360v. Wish I was a little closer. If you're ever in the North Shore/Merrimack Valley/Southern NH area let me know...I'd love to check out the work.

I have no problem meeting up some where so you can check it out.
Where about in NH are you?? I am located in Fitchburg ma but I go everywhere .
just let me know.
Your work looks amazing. I love the shine on the motor. I always wondered what that color would look like with a hologram in background. I'm sure that would be sick!
Scotty, I have a 1989 360V, what did you do at the edges up front to fill in that 1/8" lip or did he just run the carpet to the edge? I am wanting to do the same so I can use some of the new carpet trim. I was thinking of getting some 1/8" plywood and putting over the entire deck to raise it up that 1/8". Your boat looks great, it's amazing what some wetsanding will do.
Great job on your boat, I have a 88 363 in the same colors and I would like to do something similar on my front deck. Could you show how you hinged the lids? Are some just drop in?
Thanks for any advice you have.
I love the smell of TCW3 in the morning...
It smells like victory!
GoPoke, I'm pretty sure he added padding to the front deck. I would think that would make up for the difference.
Beautiful job. I am doing my 85 373V and have a couple of questions. How much carpet did it take and where did you get it? Did you use one or two sheets of plywod? Thanks for the post, it really helped me out.
looks amazing, off to fit bigger rods into my 395V. gonna keep my padded seats though.
Do you have any pictures that show how you framed up the side oppisite the rod box? (The side for your tackle boxes)

Hello sorry for the delayed response .
the pic was posted earlier in the thread but here it is
Scotty when you painted the motor, what did you use or do on the rubber trim?

I used all meguires products starting with their heaviest cut compound and then worked my way down to the polish and wax
I used like 3 different compounds and 2 different stage polishes and finished with meguires flagship wax
good luck its alot of work but totally worth the effort
I am also restoring an 89 363, this looks good. How did you hinge the middle door? Where did you get the plastic stuff for the bottom of the lids? Do you have a set of blue prints?
I bought one of the hinges in this thread...perfection.

The build looks awesome. I have an 88 363v and looking at doing the same thing. One question I had was on the rod locker, is the new framed board sitting flush against the center box? Or is there like a 1/4" gap. I can't tell from the pictures.
Hey Brother. I just came across this posting from years ago. I previously owned a 375V for about 10 years. Went a different direction for a while BUT NOW I am back. Just picked up a 1990 363V Bass Masters Classic edition, that still has the padded port side forward seating. I am looking to add at a minimum: Recessed tray fr T/M foot pedal and expand that port side compartment to be a rod locker - like you've done.
If you still have it - can you HMU ? Thanks Dave D.
