My mechanic buddy still has it, but yes its pretty much done. I just need to get it home and cleaned up and post some pics.

I just came in to grab a beer (Snapple cooler took a crap on me ) The transom is shot!! I am working on it now. Got the back cap cut loose, in the process of separating it now.

I'll put up some pics later this evening

You made a good start for sure. Did the rot make it to the stingers? Looks like it won't be to bad of a job the way it is laid out.

Also, I like those rims on the trailer.. never seem that design, but I like em :thumbup2:

Frank, this one is gonna be real fun to watch. How much are you planning to do to it? Color change?

Didn't you say on the Champion board that you had a 190 you were going to work on?

Yes, I have a 95 190 Elite that hit a T post and ripped a stringer and the bottom out towards the back about 3' long It is at the glass shop being done by a pro. I could have done it myself but this one is going to be my best friends boat and I didn't want to take any chances especaily when you dealing with the pad.

As for this one I like the color combo now and the gel is not in that bad of shape. I just have to fix a few areas in the white and try to blend it in the best that I can.

I would like to do the same with this one minus all the gel work but still glass in the dash and the front troller area. We will see I still need to do some more poking around on the strings and see if any rot might be in there. If there is rot in the stringers it will prolly go to the pasture and I'l keep the trailer for the 89

Talking with BCB's it is almost impossible to separate the cap on a Basscat and if I can't fix the stringers right there is no sense in keeping it, so lets hope they are in good shape cause I really like this boat.

Just saw this post Frank. It looks like a lot of work. As I was reading through the post and you were talking about taking the top cap off I thought this is going to be interesting because Basscat fiberglasses the top cap to the hull.
