I had numerous problems and couldn't get the software to work with my computer. I finally got it figured out and figured I would post up some of the small things that helped me finally get the program to run correctly. I know there are some write ups already but I thought I would post some of the steps that I used to get it working.
1-as stated, use a laptop with windows 95 or 98. I tried XP and couldn't get it to work. I went out and bought a compaq with windows 98 for $70
2-Use a floppy disk! I tried from a CD and kept getting error 22 or a communication error. I took my CD and copied it to a floppy. this made a big difference.
3-Restart your computer in DOS mode. Mine is in the "Shut Down" menu.
4- once in dos mode, insert the floppy and then type the following---
a:
(and then hit enter)
(then type)
emmdiag
(hit the enter key)
program should start from there if you follow the instruction on the screen.
