Finally done! Got the console all carpeted up and now I need to fix the trolling motor and register it! I did not get many shots of it before but you can tell what kind of mess it was from the couple shots.

This looks amazing.... I have to ask...how long did it take you?
Where did you get your supplies from? I have a Sea Nymph and I am about to embark on the same journey...
I would guess total hours about 12. The thing that took the longest was waiting for the resin to dry. One thing dealing with the resin was not mixing too large of a batch. On all the wood I applied thompsons then the resin. I bought treated wood but put the Thompsons on just to be safe. I went for the glass resin for the price difference. Everyone suggested the epoxy resin rather then glass resin. Live and learn I guess? All of the supplies were bought at Lowes except the self tapping SS screws I got from fastenel. If you have all the old wood this makes it alot easier and faster for cutting out the new wood. I think the cost was about $400-$500 for everything. One thing I left out was the rod storage. I did not put it in because it only messured at 6' and I have alot of 6'6"-10' rods so figured this is pointless to put back in and I will have more than two people(Kids) in the boat alot of the times I go out so I'll need the extra seat room and floor space. I worked all weekend and have Monday and Tuesday off and guess what it is doing. Thunderstorms on both days
wow, that truly is some great work, and i got some ideas to add to my bass tracker as well. i just redid mine this summer and it sure feels good when you do a nice job, and do it all yourself. great job again and you should definately be proud, cause we all are!!

That looks awesome! Hope when I get done with mine, it looks that good.
One question for you......does the grain of the carpet run the same way on the decks of your boat that the grain on the lids do??
I ALMOST installed mine - and caught myself at the last possible minute before I installed the carpet on 2 of my lids.......luckily I had enough left to cut more pieces out........now all the carpet runs the same direction!!!!
Lets not talk about that Skarfer! can honestly say yes. Two of them do
HAHA! I thought so! Looks great though - nice job!!!
I'll try to post some pics this weekend if I can...........
How DO I post pics on the threads like you guys do???? Haven't attempted yet - but will try this weekend..........
Thanks!
