I fished Stonewall this past sunday and monday. I fished the Walkersville ramp, water was a little stained and 66 to 69 degree surface. Fishing was a litle slow sunday with my partner and I catching 18 total bass, biggest being 3 lb. We done the best in 8 to 10' of water, seen some little bass up on the flats but nothing big. Now Monday was a different day. The big fish started moving up on the flats and it was on. We caught several bass 3 lb to 4 lb, and lost a few 6 to 7 lb, with the total for the day of 27, seen several 5 to 6 lb bass cruising the flats. The best baits was a lizard ( watermellon with orange tail ) and a 4" senko ( white ) . I caught a 30" muskie on a crankbait that was a good fight. This lake will be smoking in a couple weeks and I will be making another trip up there then
