You're welcom Bob! Too bad your trip didn't work out.

You should drive a little farther North and hit some of the water around Alpena and West of Alpena in Sept. or Oct....Burt/Mullet, Black, Long Lake, Grand Lake, Hubbard.............

    BS

Yes, you are correct. So many lakes, so little time.

Headed up Aug. 18 and 19 for a small club tourney, no money, just points. I have only been there once and so has the guy I am fishing with. We just want to enjoy ourselves and catch smallies. We are putting out of the Harley Enson ramp (I am sure I spelled that wrong) and are hoping to find fish in Mi. water as Canada is off limits. Last year I was dragging tubes on a drop shot in about 10' of water but that is pretty boring. Looking for suggestions on where to go to get numbers. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I am fishing a military tournament out of Selfrdge Air Base next month 20-23 June. I am traveling from Massachusetts and hoping that some folks can share some info on how Lake St Clair will fish in mid June.

I am assuming it will be post spawn. What baits may work best for the lake for mid June?. I am reading that if post spawn look for deeper water with grass in the 10-12 fow range

Are the largemouth even a factor or just focus on the Smallmouth? The only waters we will able to fish will be Michigan waters as Ohio and Canadian waters will be closed. I guess this helps me refine my areas to fish.

Any info from the group is appreciated.

    Thanks!!
