Fished my club tournament yesterday. Water was stained and temp was 45-48 depending on where you went. Only had three bites and caught two: 4.97 and 3.04. I ended up winning the tournament with those two. Tough day though. Jig and crankbait each accounted for one apiece.

fished a tourney on Saturday morning. water temp started at about 70 ended at about 75 by noon, stained but top foot was visible.

25 boats, only 7 brought fish to the scales. The bite was almost non existent. most only had 1 fish and they was just barely keepers.

We caught nothing but a green sunfish...

Anybody have any luck on this lake in the winter? I live in Shelbyville and figured I'd hit it a time or two this winter.

Fished a 15 boat tournament on 3/22/14 only 3 fish brought to the scales. Water was 45 to 50 degrees depending on location and time of day. Long day.

Fished Guist on August 24th. Water temps were in the upper 70s to low 80s. Fishing was really tough. I fished in 15-20 fow for the most part and I did try some shallow grassy areas with a frog. Only caught one fish all day and it wasn't picture worthy. I did graph a lot fish and bait balls but they were lock jawed for sure. I fished the damn, and the entire slew to the right of the marina and some under the bridge. Not sure if this place is getting too much pressure or if the habitat is dying down.
