Re: Braidwood Lake, Will Co (Rudeman)

Was out there a couple of weeks ago. Caught 5 keepers (one got off at the boat). Caught 4 on a red Xcalibur 1/2 oz trap and one on a double fluke setup. All fish came off rocky points. It was winday as hell and maybe 40. We couldn't fish warm side/too foggy. Nothing huge/15 inchers.

    4/3/2010; 9am-2pm
Rainy until 12:30, moderate to heavy at times, followed by increasing wind, up to 1-2' waves. wind probably in the high teens.
mainly flats, some drops into deeper holes
temp was high 60's to low 70's
    little cover
    1-2' visibility

mainly explored due to the crappy weather. one bite on a white spinnerbait away from shore. good luck. This lake is tough.

    7am - 1 pm
    air temp 48-60
sunny, 10 to 15 mph winds
    cold side temp: 65
    hot side temp: 78

Caught 1 short bass on a squarebill on rocky bank. 1 small bass jumped off on a spinnerbait

there had to be 100+ boats on the lake this sunday. Every cove and laydown i've caught fish on had 2 to 3 boats on it. This lake has seen better years in my opinion.
