Re: Cedar Lake, Jackson Co (Rudeman)

I fished Cedar April19,20 and 21. What a wonderful Lake- bluffs, bass and maybe 10 boat trailers in parking lot with most fishing crappies. Crappie fishing was good with most crappie fishermen catching 10-20 crappies(lots of 10/11's) on light jigs, 1/32 was best but 1/16 will do. trees and beaver huts and weeds. Bass fishing was alot better than Grassy. I pitched Big Worms(10 inchers in weeds/sticks with no weight and had another rod with a very light bullet and another worm with maybe a 3/16 bullet. I wanted bigger fish. I caught several 3lbers a day with a 4 or 5 each day. Flukes, jigs, senkos in grass didn't do well at all. Light spinnerbait dragged fast across the weeds and then dropped worked Ok TOO. Water temps must have been in high 60's. Nights were in low 40's and days in high 70's. Nice Lake- 9.9 limit.
