when the fishing got tuff on the lake back in june i did the same on the river. caught some descent fish put could hardly get my bait past the jack. they will cut u a piece of plastic.
I wish they would leave the grass alone.
Does anyone know why they kill the grass? I can see spraying around docks and some of the runs but to destroy it all is beyond me.
government gave the cor of engineers so much money to improve water ways so they think killing the grass is the way. theyt ought to spend it by paying someone to pick up all the trash and build nicer landing around the lake.
I know of several missing channel markers they could use that money on. Is there any way to make them understand that it doesn't all need sprayed?
No a requirement to work for the corp is to be a total idoit, no matter where they live and work.
Was out there Thrus. Tough again. Best 5 under 10lbs. My partner did catch a shoalie. First time I saw one. Anyone having better luck?
Well it was on for a few days, the bite has gone to hell in a hand basket. Seminole is been taking a lot of pressure this month and i think these little fronts have the fish in shock. I'm ready for November maybe things will change in a good way it really cant get any worse unless the lake turned over.
check out the results from this past weekend for the Fishers of Men Tx.
2 30+ limits with 7th place still with 20lbs...

anyone been lately? we fished the last weekend in janury and first weekend in february. no limits for either one. i am part of a local bass club and we have a 2 day in april. are they on the beds?
Bass will be on the tail end of bedding so try targeting staging areas and lanes as they will use the same areas for post spawn activities.
sounds good. ill make sure i have some swimbaits made up. :D
Don't forget a good supply of lizards.
i just got a lizard mold a couple months ago. there wil be plenty of them as well...junebug, watermelon, and black and blue :D
Anyone been lately? I am going to be down there at the end of April. I'm wondering what conditions I should look for to catch a few? Thanks for any input.

there was a shat ton of tournaments this weekend. i caught 2 one on a sticl the other on a frog. i heard that everyone was catching them on everything....if you could fight the wind.
so i'm looking into heading down to seminole this weekend, but i have never fished it and i'm not sure how to tackle this.
first off, does anyone know a good paved ramp on the northern shore of the lake? i looked over by the state park and i've heard someone mention butlers ferry landing and spring creek landing.
judging by the satellite image looks like a lot of slop (hoping it's a frog lake)
but first things first, i need to find a ramp.
I'm coming out of Ft. benning and i need to stay within a 150 mile radius of post so i need to find a ramp on that northern shoreline.
Spent a few days down there 9/7 through 9/11. Fish were in the thick mats with 5'-8' of water under them near deeper water. Picked up a few bonus fish with a black buzzbait before the sun came up.
