Ok....here we go....my first BAIT tourney.....Nov 19th 2005.
We launched about 7am from Horace King.....every spot we stopped had other boats that were fishing that champs thing.
I last a good fish on a c-rig half way to the dam....it was too cold to run more than about 10min at a time....*LOL*
We fished rip-rap most of the day.....I caught a keeper down near the dam,and we had a few other shorts.
We moved up lake to the railroad bridge where my partner caught a nice largemouth.....I got a couple more shorts....We left about 1:30.
All fish but 1 were on a slider head and finesse worm....the other fish was on a lavender shad bandit 300.
Alright now guys. I will be heading back to West Point in March. I need to see better reports than this!!
Had a little work tourny this past Sat. 14 th. The wind was blowing up to 40 mph gust. It was terrible and so was the fishing. Tried every thing and still came up with a goose egg. One team caught a limit, one team caught 1 fish, and every body else zeroed. The condictions could not have been worse.
Would somebody else please go fishing?? LOL
OK guys my club T is this weekend. Anyone have any current info or been on the water in the past week or so??
Well guys I had a good weekend at West Point. I finished 1st with just under 19lbs. I had big fish also @ 7-4. Caught some chunky spots and the big girl to relly make for a nice weekend. I caught fish from Veasy to Half Moon.
Im fishing westpoint this weekend ,hopefully I will have something to report on!
Well I fished this afternoon from around 4 to 8 pm. The few fish we caugth seem to be holding in brush about 12 to 16 ft. The biggest were 3 and 2 pound spots.Im fishing in a tourney next weekend im looking for the fishing to be tuff!

Well....westpoint is about 6 feet low and has been for a good while.. New grass growing everywhere... I took and older man from my church out for the day and caught a dozen or so small spots and LM.. Nothing to brag about.. I'm heading out again the the morning,....

Check that.... Westpoint has got to be 8 ft down.. Looks like the heat and ACOE dropped the lake level again.. Alot of ramps are inaccessable now..
2 fish today. 1 small spot and a 2-2.5lb spot. Water was 92-94 degrees and got real flat after 1pm.. Off the water at two and almost dontated a pair of glasses (reading/driving) into the lake.. A big "Thank-you LORD" after I went wading up to my kness at the ramp and found em in the slime.......
Could have been mucxh worse... I could have been at work!

Hey brothers,
I need some help. I have a two day club tournament up at West Point on 22/23 September. I've never even seen WP, must less fished it. I live down around Valdosta and rarely fish north of Eufaula.
I got no clue about the place but I ain't skeered! Got me a couple of spinning rods and a c-rig ready...based off a couple of reports I found on line.
Thanks!
