Hey guys my son and I are planning to go fish Russell for the first time, hopefully this coming Saturday. Where would be a good place to launch from with my old gas hawg that wouldn't require very long runs? Coming from McDuffie co and don't mind driving. Plan on carolina rigs, shad raps, drop shotting and whatever might get a bite. We fun fish only maybe keep one or two for fillets. Thanks for any help.
