Re: Report's For Clark's Hill (Bassin Billy)

I was up at the Hill last weekend. Water is down over five feet. Saw lots of boats on the infamous humps at all hours. Swam and tubed with the kids more than I fished given the heat. Did see lots of fish on deep points with rocks via the electronic eye. Fish were in approximately 20 feet of water. Caught a couple of 12-13 inch fish on june bug C-rigged worms and also caught two chain pickerel on jerkbaits. Hadn't seen that fish in a while, much less two. I can be contacted at five_fold at yahoo.com. I fish Oconee and Clarks Hill mostly and live in the Lawrenceville area.

My name is Chris Chavis. I'm originally from Ellabell but moved here when i got married. I fish alot of open tournaments around here. I'm thinking about fishing yall's next club tournament. I am friends with a few guys in your club George Carrol, John Mitchell, and Josh Sheffield. I work out at the mill with John.

Re: Report's For Clark's Hill (Bassin Billy)

Hey chris be careful of them guys with yellow boats, they will try and spray you and push you out of the way when going around bends in them rivers, don't worry about billy he only throws one crankbait, no matter what the conditions are. So once he loses it (and he will) the event is over for him On a serious note they are a good group of guys and put on a awesome open event every year.

Its about to pick up at the Hill, they were off the jig for a while but Friday, i finally caught 1 on it, for the first time in about 2 months. I also caught some on a Buckeye Lures Crankbait that will be on the market in about 2 weeks. Its been a long Summer, its refreshing to switch to those Fall patterns.

Re: Report's For Clark's Hill (chavis)

$20 for the tournament entry. $10 for big fish pot ($5 a day) and $50 for your membership. Very reasonable entry fees. Now of course we ain't fishing for no giant pot or anything. Usually big fish is better than 1st place. This Thursday at Lovezzollas in Pooler 7:30 pm.
