Need to find a good spot to take my brother who's coming home from Iraq

Hey guys,

My little brother is coming home from Iraq in about a week or so. He is stationed at Ft. Stewart. I am from Virginia, and was looking to do some bass fishing on the Ogeechee river, launching from Ft. Mc Allister. I don't know Georgia waters very well, but have some research on charts and google earth.

My question is, is it worth the time, or should we shoot up and fish the Savanah river? I'm not asking for spots, just looking for a nice day on the water, getting a nice limit.

go to savannah river reports and ask them guys.they will point you in the right direction.

Ft. Stewart has excellent fishing on post. 180 lakes or something like that.
