I'm in the process of converting most everything except for a few to either Loomis GL2's and Falcon Cara's and Lowriders.

Merabas Destroyer Expada. So sensitive I can tell when the bass are looking at the lure. BIG to Brian at Tackle Trap.
Hard to pick. I have a few that are favorites. My GLoomis, Allstar crankin' series and Shimano made a Black Magnum 165c back around 1990 that I have four of and still use that I love.
I have become a G Loomis convert. I have moved to all NRX, GLX, and a IMX this season...with the exception to one 5'6" Light St. Croix Premier. I have seen the light!
If I had to pick one it would be my NRX 803C. Just perfect with a Metanium.
HUGE fan of the Dobyns Champ Extreme series. all rods in this set.
13 Fishing Omen is the one I have the most of right now. I tried it first a few years ago and really liked it so I bought more last season. For the price, I feel like I get a lot of value.
ALX dream use for spinnerbaits square bills jerk baits vibrating jigs and light worm senko best all around rod for me
I think I've tried over 20-30 rod companies....and I always come back to Falcon. For the price/weight/overall feel the Bucoo stands alone for me. A close second has to be Power Tackle rods...esp. the Paragon series. Awesome rods!!!!
Dobyns DX HP... Bad ass rods with a new bad ass look.
My favorite rod is the G. Loomis NRX 843C.
Dobyns DX 745C
My favs are Shimano Cruicial and the iRod air. PAir them up with some Curados and I am Happy.
Contact me if you are looking for Thunderlures!
I like the old Shimano Cumaras, no longer made. They just replaced a cumara with a Zodias does anybody know much about these and do they compare to Cumaras.

just what I use and how I rank them....
#1 St. Croix Premier and Avid. Premier are tough, workhorse do it all rods. Avids are just slightly sweeter to fish with more blank options.
#2 Shimano Crucials, the cork handle models, pre 2014. Great rods, almost equal to Avids in my opinion.
#3 Cabela's Tournament ZX for value rods. Some of these are fantastic, especially on sale!
GLX MBR 843C
Started using ALX rods last year. Love them. Great CS and the feel and performance of the rods are outstanding. I have a couple Mojo rods that I like for a couple applications, but all of my new rods will be from ALX.
Waterloo Ultra Mag.. Texas made rod
Kistler He3
I have two rods that are my favorites. Both of them being casting rods I built for myself. Both are built on Rainshadow Immortal blanks. One is a 7'2" fast action, medium heavy power. (the numbers are more in line with most factory rods labeled as heavy power) The other a 7'3" fast action, medium light power, but as with the other blank, the numbers are more in line with most factory rods labeled as medium power.
I built them identical to each other. Split EVA foam rear grip, Alps MVT reel seat, Fuji polished SS frame guides with Alconite rings. Size 4.5 guides as runners. As both rods are built for slack or semi slack line techniques, I added weight inside the butt of the blanks so each rod is balanced slightly tip light for the reel that is used on it.
