NRX 852 casting is my all time favorite.

I have three 852's, two casting and one spinning.

I can't say how they compare to the cumara but I can say that this rod is amazing. Extremely light and the most sensitive rod that I've ever used.

NRX CRR 873. I fish footballs, pitch with it, heavier swim jigs, 10 inch worm, open water frog. I even c-rig with it!

I think the zodias is the best rod out at its price point. A lot of people don't like them. Most say they feel to stiff but untill you fish them and see how they bend and handle fish. Very nice rods

Currently my favorite rod is my Kistler Helium 3 LMH spinning rod. Love it for swim jigs and finesse jigs.

    Stella/Conquest.

I didn't think I would like the Conquest rod as much as the NRX but I love it...

For the $$ I think it's hard to beat the SC Avid bit I still love my Legend Xtreme's and Legend Elite's.

This thread is awesome. Love to hear everyones choices. Very shocked that the Kistler Helium held it's own with Loomis. I have the 7'3" Zbone their flagship model. Fit and finish are superb. Nice hook keeper, Torzite guides, AAA cork, it's sweet. The Phenix MBX is a great rod for sure, I have the MBX-s Classic 706M. Hard not to like. But the overall winner is the Megabass Addermine for sure. Fit, finishes, feel, versatility.... I just can't put the damn thing down. Love it so much I purchased two..... one with the Stella the other with the Excense.

The Megabass Destroyer Addermine beat the:

    Zbone 7'4" (very very nice)
Phenix MBX 7'6". (Very very nice)
    Dobyns
    Conquest 842S JWR
    NRX 842S
    Expride 272MJ. (very very nice)
    Steez STZ 741XHFBA-XBD
    Megabass Orochi XXF4.1/2-68XX
Daiwa Tatula Elite 7'6" Neko rod. (super rod)
    Shimano/Jackall Poison Adrena 173MHA 7'3". (2nd choice)

Club guy since 1980...started off with $30 Berkley Lightning Rods 5 ft 6 and 6 ft for worming....then rod makers sort of exploded...

Was on Team Kistler about 6 years...then couple of them formed Impulse rods so have been with Team Impulse 7 years now...
got a couple other brands due to huge discounts as Trophy Catcher in Florida (5 of about 15 rods) just out of curiosity because you MUST MUST fish your style with any rod a couple days

... there is NO WAY to know some things in fishing w/o borrowing a rod or reel or buying one to see for yourself...
had heard about Loomis till I could not stand it...bought one about 2007 and the very 1st cast it broke...on Red River...jig in 19 feet of water...set hook and it popped...sent it back and sold the replacement...you do not get 2 chances at that price IMHO...some swear by them which is fine.

I always say "YOUR $ your choice" for everything in the bass world from boats to rods...
when you meet the guy who has fished with 10 different rods or reels, let us know...he must be 89 years old...LOL
