Revo Premier.......
revo's hands down.no other will match there drag capabilities.they are the finest reels made bar none.
Well my favorite reel that I currently have is a Shimano 200e7, great reel,. Worth every penny! I love it, havent had any problems with it. I want to buy a curado soon though.
Shimano Chronarch 101D7!
Here's a few of mine in this order.
1. My 2 DAIWA STEEZ ULTRA 100SHA
2. My 2 LEW'S TOURNAMENT PRO EP1SH
3. My Japan import DAIWA PX 68 SPR
4. My 2 QUANTUM PT SMOKE 100
5. My 2 SHIMANO STRADIC CI4 2500F
6. My Japan import DAIWA ALPHAS 103
7. My 2 ABU GARCIA REVO SX HS
The Steez, Lews, and the PX68 are all some damn sweet reels. Ther're gonna be hard to beat in my book.
Hands down my favorite reel has been a Curado....but I may be switching over now that I purchased my first Core. That thing is just unbelievable!

Shimano curado 51e
Used to fish shimano reels, now all lews. No comparison imo
daiwa px-r type r then pixilla. it's funny that the pixy is mentioned in the first page of this thread that started back in 04'.
i've been a revo fan since they came out and have traded back for 3 of the 2nd gen premiers.
i liked the mgx, but not the newer revos. the gearbox sits to low for me on the newer ones and all the black on most of the reels/handles looks cheap.
i think shimano used to be great but has missed the boat on the swept handles.
they should switch back the chronarch and curados to the last styles and add swept handles.
having said that i'm still looking to get a scorpion dc to try out. if i love it i'll add my own swept handle.
i like the
lews
quantums
shimano
td-ito
revos
daiwa
steez
but i love the px-r and pixilla/pixys.
i don't think you can go wrong with any of the higher end reels on the market today.
50MG, have sold almost all my other reels and have these except for my braid reel and my DD22 reel (all have the carbontex drag washers).

Shimano Chronarch 100D7, then the Shimano Calcutta TE100DC, then the Shimano Core 100Mg7, then the JDM Shimano Excense DC, now I'm so confused???????

Favorite = Abu revo stx, best for the money = lews tournament speed spool.
Shimano core 100 and Lew's tournament pro.
Both are sweet reels.
Chornarch 50mg is not far behind.
I really enjoy using both a 2nd Gen. Revo Premier and a TD Fuego bait-casting reel. Both function somewhat differently due to their differentiating cast control systems, but both serve admirably.
pflueger all the way. using patriarch and supremes. NEVER a problem in 5 years of use with the supremes.
Zebco 202 my first reel
usmc03
Gen 2 Revo Premier & Gen 3 STX are probably my two favorite casting reels. For spinning, I've really come to love my Premiers.
My favorite reels in order:
1) Daiwa Millionaire CV-Z 103L
2) Daiwa Fuego-L
3) Daiwa Sol-L with Megabass finesse spool
