    '07 e-tec 115, which prop for speed?

I have a 115 e-tec on my 178 vs and the thing is a snail, any suggestions as to props that I can try to increase my speed? don't really care about holeshot, just want a few more mph.

If it will fit and give you some speed I have a 2000 225 Ficht Renagade prop. I think it is 25P may be too much for you. It is a small dia hub. Will sell cheap.

Thanks for the offer though, if I could it would probably fly.

I think its a case of suck it and see......you will need to try several props and at different motor settings... my heavy tin dish with my 115hp E-Tec had a prop slippage problem...fixed it with a 15" X 15" 5 blade Hillman Prop, so as you will find out test several makes and sizes, they all will make your boat feel different and not just speed.

I have the same motor on an 06 stratos 275 its an 17.5 ft boat. I run a 13.25x18 raker prop. I can go one size down and one size up and that about it. I know the feeling. I get about 50miles gps on a good day. My prop has been reworked twice so I think a new one would put me around 51-52. I know I am dreaming.

I have some props and am selling my stratos with 115 I have three props:

New never ran 21P Renegade Perfect condition with thrust washer ????
A little rough 20P Raker, would need to be worked but could let go pretty cheap $100 plus shipping? 48.5 @5900 RPMS, in this condition
19P Viper, worked down to 18P by mark croxton, cup and exhust holes added. 46.5 GPS @6000 with trim left

Let me know however I have mentioned the Raker to someone else so I need to check with them first.

before you buy or try anything, what is your current WOT? to just buy a bigger prop to get more soeed, may in fact just ruin your engine's useful life.
