Will this work for drying lures?

I'm in the process of putting some spinnerbaits together. I've painted them & I want to put flex coat on the paint to protect it. I took a piece of roll bar padding, slipped it on to a short piece of conduit & put it in my rod turner. I don't see why it won't work, I just have to keep them rotating for a couple hours. Thanks

I tried that years ago and had the hooks get loose while turning and flop over onto the foam ruining the finish...

BTW... I use the pipe wrap foam for when I hang baits to drip, but the rotating wore out the foam/grip.

This is roll bar padding which is a little denser than pipe warm plus thicker. I do need to come up with something different but it'll do for now.
