    To get started?

OK guys if I decided to start painting my own cranks, how much money would it take to get a decent set-up and what exactly would I need to get started?

I wouldn't recomend going overboard to start out. You can always upgrade later if you find this is something you want to do. Check out Harbor Freight and Hobby Lobby. Between the 2 of them you should be able to get everything you need. Airbursh, compressor, paints, epoxy, etc... You can get an airbrush alone or in a kit with a hose and connections, or even a kit complete with a compressor as well.
As far as cost, there are just too many variables to say for sure, but if you find the right deals you should be able to stay in the $100-$200 range. Good luck.
