Re: Where do you do your work? Lures,Rods etc... (Koldkut)

Figured you guys may like to see my new shop. It's 16'x12' & It's insulated on the 3 sun filled sides, but the back wall is not for hazard reasons using a torch, etc. I ran full electric in it, and it's air conditioned. It stays in the upper 70's during the day except the super hot days it stays around 80-82. Still have to finish the following:

    - Insulation (2-3 pieces worth)
    - Tank stand for 30 gallon test tank
    - Shelves
    - Range hood style ventilation
    - Transferring all the stock out

my subterranean shop. I have a whole kitchens worth of old cabinets (1 and half kitchens to be precise) that will eventually go in here..... some day.

this is my mom's old PC - running linux as a glorified MP3 player now - hooked up to 150 watts of old-school, ear drum destroying, Pioneer acoustic power.

wife says i have to sound proof the room before the cabinets go up (its just below the kitchen )

With the hours I've been working this has taken me most of the winter to get this set up and half way organized. Still needs a few things but it's close enough to start building a few again since we've started to slow down a little at work.

I had all of my fishing junk scattered all over the house and was building rods in 2 separate rooms. FINALLY I can be a little more efficient.

Well the bench is in the garage finally. I have it stained in this pic, I still have 2 more coats of poly before it is done and I can get organized. Right now I have stuff everywhere and have no clue where anything is.

Ok Guys, you inspired me to finally get rid of the folding table and build a workbench, just for my tackle work. Here it is!

I am going to dive into painting crankbaits to see if I like it so here is my first attempt at a paint booth/work station.
    2013-01-05_16-10-00_692.jpg

Mounted a regulator/filter to the side of the box

    2013-01-05_16-09-42_913.jpg

Added an airbrush holder because I hear they are easily knocked onto the floor

    2013-01-05_16-08-46_172.jpg

Mounted a set of helping hands to secure the bait

    2013-01-05_16-08-38_377.jpg

Rotisserie motor mounted inside box which will run a turning wheel mounted outside the box for drying baits
