    Colors

From what I have always heard you use dark colors in stained or dirty water and bright colors in clear water...and also use bright colors on a bright day and dark on a cloudy day... is this right and if so would i use bright colors on a bright day w/ stained water?????

Perhaps a better way of looking at it would be to say. You need a color with high contrast in muddy water. thus they say dark or very bright, so people use black, purple or chartreuse. As the water gets clearer through stained to clear, you need to switch to more translucent and natural color. These would be the colors of the local forage (shad, crwafish. whatever). Many tend to use watermelon and green pumpkin type colors in this situation.

All this doesn't explain why bass will hit a plastic that's colored bubble gum, or bright yellow, which is why we all keep asking questions and scratching our heads
