    Favorite Soft Plastic Scents?

Guys, there are a TON of products out now claiming to coax ol Mr and Mrs Bass into biting and not letting go of our oh so close but not quite real soft plastic baits. Wondering if you have any favorites that have been good or know of some that just flat don't work?

So far I've tried Carolina Lunker Sauce in Threadfin Shad and Yum's new Night Crawler Spray. I have mixed results with both so far and can't say that either has really made a huge impact.

    Whatcha think? Thanks fellas.

All I use is garlic. I've tried a bunch of brands and the cheep ones seem to work just as well as the more pricey ones. Can't remember the name of the one I'm using now but its the cheepest stuff that Academy sells and I'm on my 2nd can. Will say, stay away from Spike-it slime, the cans leak.

I use attractants for two purposes
First as a lubricant, I fish in grass a lot and the attractant helps my plastic baits slide through easier.

Second I use Fish Formula II or Baitmate (clear) with a ½ oz of pure anise oil added; this is to mast any odor my plastic may have pick up.

scents have many purposes, the least being to attract fish.
    1-they mask any foreign odor
2-in some instances when a bass bites they hold on a little longer
    3-they lubricate,which helps in cover
4-they give the user added confidence
as to which brand, i like the least messy.i only use it when the bite is tough and im lookin for any help to my confidence.
