    Running a tempest on an hpdi 250

    I have a 08 250 hpdi. Currently working on get boat proped right went to put a tempest plus on and it wants to hit the grease zero in the lower unit housing for the prop shift does anyone have a cure for this other than taking the zero out and putting a bolt in to plug it

    Never had an issue. Are you sure you have the right thrust washer? Or sure the washer isn’t worn?

    Sounds like you are using the thrust washer for a Merc motor... Using a forward bushing helps too.

    You need a 835271Q2 hub kit.

    I heard that also. I just got a scorpion to try out. Both 15 1/8 in size. Bigger ears, raise it up.
