    Nebraska Folks

Have friends in the area and family to the east, in Iowa.

Some nasty stuff coming through... very large, destructive tornado in west Omaha area; moving toward Blair, Ft. Calhoun, Mo Valley.

Prayers for everyone in the path.

Watching the local news and there has been at least 12 confirmed tornadoes so far and it doesn’t appear to be over yet.

Been watching Ryan Hall on my breaks from working in the garden. There have been several PDS warnings. At 5pm there were 15 tornado warnings. There's currently 12. Make that 13. Haven't seen it drop below 10. Very interesting. Lots of reports of damage and injuries. Seen several live from spotters he has links to. Watching a big one now in Iowa.

Unbelievable intensity and number of tornadoes on the ground with this system and it's nowhere near done... going all through a bunch of my old stomping grounds.

Looks like it going to be the biggest outbreak of tornadoes here since the the May tornadoes in 1975. I was only 16 then but remember them.

I was 13 and lived in Atlantic at the time... remember them well.

There was one particular photo of the huge tornado in west Omaha that I'll never forget.

Just south of my hometown in Iowa right now. I’m glad I moved dad to VA a few months ago, he hated the tornado warnings at his assisted living facility in Iowa because he had to take refuge in his bathroom and couldn’t see what was happening on the TV.

I'm in Ontario but was watching CNN this morning and the video's of the damage was unbelievable and they said around 70 tornadoes touched down. We're lucky here and don't get too many and I've never even seen one but it must be terrifying when they're around. Hopefully nobody died in this tragedy.
