Those were classics! They’ll never make tv shows like them ever again.

Ernest T was not on nearly as many episodes as you would think.

Ain't no little girl gonna tell you nothing about a postum under a rock, you want to really find out about a postum under a rock you find a boy with dirt under his fingernails. You find a boy with dirt under his fingernails, you find a boy with dirt under his fingernails you find a boy who's been rooting around under a rock for postum.

Yes ma'am, I speak when it's my turn to speak, and when my turn comes I'll set you right in a jiffy about how to find a postum under a rock. You can go about it two ways you see, you light a fire or you jab at him with a long pointy stick. Light the fire smoke him out, jab at him with that stick good.

    Mr Bass that was rude!!

Why thank you!! I got a rude, I bet you ain't never got no rude.

Good dog will root him out for you if you ain't got a fire or stick on you.

I tried courtin Hog Winslow's daughter, Hogette, it's a French name. I courted her just as proper as proper could be. First off I wrote her a love note asking her to go on out with me and then I tied that love note to the prettiest rock you ever did see and then I gave it the prettiest toss you ever did see right through the front window.

Did Hogette come out with you?

Couldn't, caught her right chere, seven stitches. All my charm, good looks, and loveable traits didn't mean a thing. She's chimed for now, going to marry the taxidermist what sewed up her head.

We thought about killing him, kind of hated to go that far. You better travel by daylight, it gets kind of rough after you cross the Robert E Lee natural bridge.

I can do chin ups, I'm the best rock thrower in the county, and I'm saving up for a gold tooth. I'm the man for you Charlene you know it now can I come over there and kiss you on the jaw?

You just a think you're having a wedding tomorrow, maybe you ain't. I don't chew my cabbage twice and you ain't heard the last of Ernest T Bass.
