Took 27 lbs of smallmouth to win a team tournament a few weeks ago. Weather has thrown a little twist in today, but I'd guess the lake will fish very well.

yep its good the big trails atleastt cycle through lakes.. i know the local and team tournaments still wear them out but i like how the top trails give them a break..

But yes i have seen the smallies coming out of that place its been unreal.. Heck i always remember when i was young reading about how every one hated pickwick, now look at it

I tried to watch a little off and on today. Man I’m shocked at the number of smallmouth in that lake now. Wow.

    Smallmouth are amazing here.

During the down cycle of the lake, smallmouth was the best bite.

    There are some bigs here.

Great to see KY making a comeback! Maybe some of the pressure on Pickwick will go back.

Can not believe what I am seeing here. Targeting smallmouth spawning on main river flats in open water. More like a Great Lakes event than a Tn River April deal. Way more smallmouth than I realized we had.

Former MLB Mike Greenwell is fishing this event. He's one spot above a NWI hammer. Hopefully they'll both bounce back today and catch a few big ones
