Does your boat insurance cover trailer damage?

Just wondering, if your boat coverage includes trailer issues.

I have no idea, just had two friends with hubs, spindles, issues.

Mine does but those items may be considered a “maintenance item” and not covered

I make sure the trailer, boat and motors including the trolling motor and electronics are all listed with the sn#s on the policy and keep it up to date with any changes. It may help to have pics of everything including all tackle etc. and check if your homeowner's will cover any of it.

Which policy covers the trailer for theft, accident on the road, liability etc. The boat, auto or home owners? Which policy covers the contents of the boat, tackle, rods, electronics etc.? I have totaled a trailer and the auto policy covered it not the boat policy. I have had a major tackle, electronics theft covered by the homeowners policy. The trolling motor theft was covered by the boat policy after a fight, the adjuster, not familiar with Bass/fishing boats said it was not listed on the policy as normal boat equipment. That is why I said to make sure it is listed.
