I am almost 49 and I know I am getting old. I have 2 teen boys at home and I teach 8th grade. Listening to these young guys talk makes me feel like I am around the kids I teach. " dang bro" " this is going to be lit" "come on dude bite" etc... just seems like the gaurd has changed and us older guys, at least some of us are having a hard time with the current vernacular in fishing. Feel like I am watching my students fish...

I can get past a kid his age talking like that, now the BPT crew (Wheeler, DC and a few others) this is in their mid 30's talking like that gets old.

When my kids talks to me like that I talk the same way back to her and it embarrasses her to the point she stops I don't get it, if she thinks it sounds dumb when I say those things why does she think it sounds any different when she does it. It doesn't bother me, but I do think it's kind of funny how these kids talk sometimes.
