    Raptor stomp switches and remote

Anyone have a problem with the stomp switches and or remote taking a 5-10 seconds, if the poles haven't been operated in a while?

This is a problem related to Bluetooth. BT a hard time with equipment that is stowed away in a locker.

Yes, same issue. Everyone that has Raptors has this same problem. Once they wake up they seem to operate pretty well. It is frustarting. Wish Minn Kota would fix this. Other than that they are great.

A low battery will also cause issues the stomp switches. Had that problem this weekend. Changed the battery and it was much more responsive.

Yes, such problems can arise due to oxidation of contacts or accumulation of dust in the switching mechanisms. Contacts and mechanisms should be wiped down periodically with a cleaning spray or isopropyl alcohol to prevent oxide and dust buildup, which can help improve the performance of the switches and remote control.
