3 of my 4 units do this on my boat because they are networked together. I'm not a fan either but its just something I have learned to accept.......

You can disable this from happening by turning off the "auto power on" function.

Please explain sequence to accomplish this. I have jacked with networked ultras for hours and cannot get this to function. Both turn on/off no matter how I have the auto on set.

When networked : They come on and off together

When you turn the "auto power on" when it gets power it will turn both on , different than turning power on to one and all coming on but same result
Turning one off will always turn all off

This works with my uhd2 93sv networked to my ultras also
I have a uhd 73sv networked with these also and it powers on and off separately , the 73 is supposed to do this as per Garmin

End of story . thats the way Garmin has it set up

This has been discussed many times. Majatk has it exactly right. When ethernet-linked, that is the expected behavior (powering on and off together), no way to disable. The Auto Power Up feature doesn't address this. With this feature On, when power is applied to the unit's power cable, it will automatically turn on (don't need to power up via the Power button on the unit).
