    Ethernet Switch

Im installing humminbird ethernet switch. Does it need an on off switch. I already have separate on off switch's wired into hot side of each graph.

i used one. there are occasions i wouldnt want it on. such as updating multiple units. even just the constant drain on the battery in storage is a reason to have a switch on it.

Also, it's helpful to be able to power off the switch when making network connection changes to reset everything. If it would be cut off by a whole boat switch, that would work as well.
