    My new Z518

After selling my 2015 520c back in December I picked up my new 2023 Z 518. Was wanting to downsize for a couple reasons and I'm really happy with the decision so far

Congrats! I really wish they rated the early Z518 w/ a 200. I would be happy with a 200, even though my 150 gets her moving.

Tell me more about downsizing; have a 520L and thinking about the exact same thing.

Great looking rig. I have thought of doing the same thing you have done.

The main reason I wanted to downsize is this20230521_173309.jpg20230521_173309.jpg. The other reason is price. I really wanted a new boat and the difference in 2 extra ft of boat is around 30 grand

    I went from a 08 z-520 to a 2010 z-518 with a 200 pro xs, runs great. I replaced all the Battery's to Ionic's, which caused a lose of bow lift problem.

They only did the 518L w/ 200 HP. Not the 518, or I would have it on my boat. 2018 / 2019 the 200 HP was not available. Even the coast guard plate for my boat has max HP = 150.

Had I waited until 2019 / 2020, then I would have been able to put a 200 on the 518.
