2005 optimax 135hp oil filter replacement

Newby here, I have a 2005 optimax 135 hp. can I replace the oil filter (small white filter) and not get the oil system re primed? if I pinch the hoses on both sides, add new filter them purge any air out of the tank on the motor will I be ok?

If you are referring to the single white filter that is in the oil supply line, YES.
