I'm trying a new set up. I got two 24v lithium batteries and wired them in parallel. They are 50ah each. In size they take up less room. In the trays I put a honeycomb mat down for a little cushion..? Next to the batteries I mounted a 24v 15amp Epoch charger. Also I wanted easy access to the bilge area so I used thump screws to hold the plate down. Under the plate I put metal inserts down to hold the screws. Now with no batteries in the way I can just turn the thumb screws and lift the plate. I'll try it out and see how it works.
