    Making Two Tone Skirts

After 40 years of making skirts I am going to swallow my pride and ask for some help.

What do folks do to get a good 2 tone skirt. Such as a white bottom and a green top or back.

Mine always seem to mix no matter how I arrange the skirt tabs.

    Please tell me your secrets.

I use an o ring. After pulling both tabs through the o-ring, Put one color in one hand, the other color in the other hand and pull. Colors are 100% separate. Then while pulling slightly, Slide hook in gap. Skirt colors are perfectly separated.

Thank you I will try that. I was using painters tape and that was not getting it to where I wanted it to be.

I will let you know how it works for me

This may sound silly but your wanting to two tone your skirts top half one color bottom other color and add a color to split them I can show how to do that. I will add pictures tomorrow. It called the umbrella skirt.

This worked perfectly. Didn't cut the skirt tabs till after I had it on the spinnerbait. Looks just like I wanted it to be. Dark top and white bottom.
