I wanna change my steering wheel it is getting kinda worn. What have you guys used?

I put a new steering wheel on my last boat. It was cheap and easy. I just searched for "boat steering wheel" on eBay and picked one I liked. It was an inexpensive Gussi brand. The hardest part was pulling the old wheel. It took a fair amount of effort to remove it.

To remove the wheel, put a deep socket upside down over the stud, while maintaining pressure up with your knees and hand, hit the deep socket a few times and the wheel will pop. less than a minute to do.

Of course remove the nut first.

Look for GUSSI PREDATOR they are really nice have a built in hub and if your OCD the center cap is on a bearing system weighted so its always centered i know because other wheels drove me crazy stopping off center.
