My TV has had a good long 16 year life and I’m clueless about newer Televisions I’m not needing anything fancy. I mainly watch sports and regular TV channels. I’ve been looking at a 75 inch Vizio at Walmart. What’s your thoughts.

If you have a Costco membership they offer really good prices and extra warranty for free. Refresh rates are important for sports and most movies. Check out Cnet for reviews.

I have a 60” vizio. Pretty good picture for cheap
Lots of online reviews to be seen. I’ve bought two new TVs in the past year, and what I learned was that each size and model can be different, even within the same brand. A 55 in a certain model, for example, can have a great picture, and the 75 be entirely different. In my case, first I wanted a 55 inch, and when I looked at several models at Best Buy, a Zenith had the best picture and features in my price range. Later, I had a 40 inch crap out. My budget for that one was low, and in online reviews I saw a Vizio that was very highly rated. I bought it and am extremely satisfied. If possible, go to a Best Buy or similar store to look at the desired model working. The only thing to keep in mind is that everything looks better in the store, since they use pre-recorded content with the highest definition. But if one TV looks better than the one right beside it, that’s a tell.

Any Samsung 8000 series.
I didn't get very long life out of the last two Vizio we had. Replaced one with a 77" Sony and the other with a 55" LG. The LG is a beautiful TV and was only $359 at Costco.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.
I’ll look at LG again when it’s time, as mentioned above check out refresh rates.
The Vizio tv's I have bought worked great for me. The last Samsung was a dud and replaced it with an LG that is good so far.
Not a fan of Samsung at all

I went cheap last summer and got a Hisense. Supposedly Samsung guts. Great picture and no issues so far.

If you are a fan of Samsung, until tomorrow (4/11) you can get a BOGO free 65" Samsung tv when you purchase one. That's a pretty good deal.
TV's are such a wide range of technologies you can't just throw a brand name out and say A is better than B. If you don't want anything fancy just get the best fitting tv in your viewing area you can afford. Don't just get the biggest. In TV's bigger is not always better. Can actually be worse. I'd suggest not getting an LED and try one of the newer technologies like OLED.
We have two 55” Vizio TVs. An E series and an M series. Both have excellent pictures and have been trouble free.
Our main TV is a 65” LG OLED. Once tuned properly it’s the absolute best picture you’ll find on the market currently.
My next TV will be another LG.

Not a fan of Korean products but almost all of my TV's are Samsung. I do not have any problems with them.
We bought the 70" Vizio from wally world when we bought our house 4 years ago. Still works great.
I have a 42" Vizio that I have had probably 15 years and my son is using it in his room still.
I have have zero issues from the Vizio TVs
Don’t purchase the brand TCL.
Love my Sony 65" OLED TV. Had it a year now. Audio runs through my Pioneer Elite receiver/amplifier.
Looks great, sounds great.

If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.
